Day 1 · Sun — Arrival. Students arrive throughout the day and settle into their crews’ base.
Day 2 · Mon — Discover: Arrival & Community. Crews are assigned and named. Passports are issued. A guided Wild Atlantic Way walk doubles as a light orienteering exercise, navigating to five or six checkpoints by map and compass, followed by icebreaker games at Tullan Strand.
Day 3 · Tue — Grow: Water Safety & Surfing. A full beach and water safety session precedes an afternoon of surfing in small groups with certified instructors, closing with a beach bonfire.
Day 4 · Wed — Create: Sustainable Living. A visit to organic gardens leads into a cooking demo and crew cook-off, then a Choice Night of acoustic music and board games.
Day 5 · Thu — Create: Storytelling & Arts. A phone-filmmaking workshop and short drama skits in the afternoon, followed by cinema in the evening.
Day 6 · Fri — Connect: Community Day. Students meet local residents and take part in a volunteer mini-project, before a Games Tournament or Casino Night. (Connect points · leaderboard update)
Day 7 · Sat — Discover: Adventure & Nature. The Slieve League summit walk, followed by an afternoon in Donegal Town and a campfire with music. (Discover + Grow points for the summit)
Day 8 · Sun — Rest Day. Beach time, calls home and laundry — a relaxed, fully supervised day with no formal programme. (Passports reviewed · mid-trip leaderboard shared)
Week Two — Grow · Create · Connect
Day 9 · Mon — Grow: Health & Wellbeing. A mindfulness session framed as performance prep, a guided forest walk, and an evening sports tournament. (Grow + Connect points for supporting teammates)
Day 10 · Tue — Coastal Challenge Day. Bushcraft in the morning, then the Atlantic Adventure Quest — a full multi-checkpoint orienteering course combined with first-aid awareness and signal-building tasks. (Biggest points day of the trip)
Day 11 · Wed — Discover: Coastal Adventure. A kayaking session, rockpooling and beach games, closing with a group-voted movie night. (Discover points)
Day 12 · Thu — Create: Presentation & Media. Presentation skills built through mock interviews and role-plays, then crews produce a travel vlog or podcast with staff support, screened that evening. (Create points · passport stamps for presenting)
Day 13 · Fri — Benbulben Hike. A full Benbulben summit hike with a choice of route, followed by a Recovery Evening of quiet games and film. (Grow points for the hike challenge)
Day 14 · Sat — Final Day. Ziplining at Carrick-on-Shannon, free time in Sligo, then the closing Certificate & Awards Ceremony — Expedition Champions announced last. (Final leaderboard reveal · passports completed)
Day 15 · Sun — Departure. Students depart with their crew, their passport, and their certificate.
