For the last two weeks I have been surfing in the afternoons and I liked it a lot, but I wanted to switch it up and try multi activity too.

That is what is great about DELS, you learn a lot of English, try different activities and meet new and amazing people from all over the world

Coline (France) – English & Horse Riding

A mes yeux DELS est le parfait environnement pour apprendre l’ anglais. Arrivée la première fois avec un niveau A1 j’ entame aujourd’ hui ma deuxième année de licence d’ anglais grace a mes séjours là bas. Les paysages irlandais sont grandioses. L’ équipe et la cavalerie du centre équestre, ainsi que leurs installations et les activités qu’ ils proposent, sont idéales.

L’ école elle-même est ce qui me fait revenir chaque année. Que ce soit pour les Juniors ou les Adultes, Gina, Mark, les coordinateurs et les professeurs forment une équipe attentionnée et chaleureuse. Les logements sont très confortables, la nourriture est bonne (surtout les desserts!), les activités du soirs et les sorties du week end sont toujours divertissantes et prétextes à nous faire découvrir la culture irlandaise et les paysages fantastiques de la côte atlantique. C’est vraiment une belle aventure à vivre et de très bon souvenirs à créer

I really enjoyed my time here, the coordinators were super nice and always carried out the evening activities really well. This experience was also great for me as I never spoke in my mother tongue having always been encouraged to speak English by both my teachers and coordinators. I also really enjoyed my house on campus, it was incredible.

We were always having fun and doing something together.

In many years of cooperation between our two organizations (more than twenty years!!!) much has been achieved and many students have greatly benefited from taking part in the the summer programs  as well as through the many Internships organised by DELS.

It’s a great bond the one that has been carefully developed between Istituto Tecnico Economico Enrico Tosi and DELS – Donegal English School.  Thanks a lot DELS for the effort you put in arranging things and for the competence of your organisation

6개월코스 다닌 사람입니다. 원래는 여행중이였는데 영어의 중요성을 깨닫고 로마에서 계획 다 취소하고 영어공부하러 여기로 왔습니다. 정말 영어를 늘리고싶으시면 더블린이나 다른 큰 도시말고 여기로 오시라고 말씀드리고싶네요.왜냐면 여기는 아시아인이 없거든요. 살아남기 위하다 보니깐 자기스스로 강제적으로 노력하게됩니다. 그리고 선생님들은 정말 열정적이고
디렉터 스태프들 정말 모두 친절하시고 어려움이 있으면 도와줄려고 정말 적극적으로 도와주십니다. 제가 맨처음에 왔을때 아는사람이 한명도 없어서 학교디렉터 지나분이 저랑 같이 조깅 뛰어준 기억이 있네요. 너무 고마웠습니다.ㅎㅎ 그리고 자연이 굉장히 뛰어납니다. 매료될거에요. 대부분의 한국분들은 대도시를 찾아가가지구 이글을 많은 사람이 보지못할거라 생각되지만 만약 이글을 보게되신다면 여기로 오시라고 말씀드리고싶네요. 강추학교입니다. 저는 코스마치고 다시 마저 못마친 여행을마무리할려고합니다. 정말 그리울거에요… 추신)집값 존나쌉니다. 빌 포함해서 30만원도 안하거나 그 언저리입니다. 반면에 더블린은 미쳤죠ㅎㅎ

Almost 2 years at DELS and I’m grateful for all the opportunities and new possibilities that place opened to me. Bundoran is a small town, be aware of that if you can’t live outside big cities, yet is a peaceful and an amazing place to live by the cost.

It’s worth to highlight the attention and care of the teaching staff with the students, in Special Gina (Director) and Fiona (Headteacher). I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve called Gina to help when students were facing problems and she always answered immediately

Mario (Mexico) – WSV Programme

DELS es una escuela con un increíble ambiente estudiantil, maestros super preparados y las vistas al mar y las montañas te dejan sin aliento.

Al principio estaba muy nervioso sobre lo que me esperaba al llegar a Irlanda, pero el acompañamiento que me brindaron antes, durante y después de mi llegada fue super valioso, y además la semana gratis de hospedaje que te dan me ayudó a tener un lugar seguro en el cual estar mientras encontraba mi propio departamento.

En la escuela me asesoraron y ayudaron con los trámites con bancos, migración, encontrar departamento y hasta trabajo!

Y ni hablar de la ciudad, Bundoran es pequeña pero super acogedora, las personas son demasiado amigables y siempre tratan de ayudarte y lo mejor de todo es que el costo de vida es el mas bajo de toda Irlanda, hay cines, supermercados, pubs, lugares para bailar, un pequeño museo, y actividades para que conozcas mas de la cultura irlandesa y a su gente. Si piensas venir a Irlanda, DELS, es por mucho de las mejores escuelas de idiomas que hay.

Quest’estate sono tornata per la seconda volta in questa scuola, grazie al fantastico tempo trascorso nelle due settimane di luglio 2016! Posto perfetto per imparare l’inglese, scoprire il Donegal e la cultura irlandese e conoscere persone che vengono da tutto il mondo per studiare nella Dels school.

Inoltre le convenzioni della scuola con le scuole di surf ed equitazioni sono ottime. Ringrazio ancora Gina e il suo staff per (doppio) caloroso benvenuto! E non vedo l’ora tornare a Bundoran

I spent almost 6 months in this school and for me they are the most fantastic months I have ever lived!!! Everybody was kind to me,
The teacher Fiona knew that I had to learn and she put me at ease to understand in a good way; Mel and Gina are affable and they were always ready if I needed help.

It is also very nice that they organize excursions where you can interact with other people and you can practice in real life what you have learned in class. I’m totally satisfied with my experience!!! I would recommend DELS to anyone!!!

Helmuth (Denmark) – One to One

Perfect place to learn English in Ireland! I underwent one week of one-on-one teaching on an adult course, which consisted mainly of English conversations on political and historical topics under the heading “Ireland and the Possible Consequences of Brexit”.

My teacher Dónall Ó Mearáin was a very knowledgeable, interesting and pleasant person. We also touched on linguistic aspects. My linguistic errors were noted and then we reviewed them the morning after. The school is beautifully located close to a beautiful cliff coast on the outskirts of the seaside resort of Bundoran. Classes in English are also offered and courses in surfing (cool waves!), Golf and horse riding. The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly.

It’s been almost six years since I’ve first been to DELS and since then I just keep coming back. Partly because of the beautiful scenery Donegal has to offer but mainly because of the lovely people at DELS!

I’d try to describe the warm and homely atmosphere that surrounds this school, its coordinators, teachers and all the other people that are involved but it’s just impossible to put these feelings into words, you have to experience it yourself! This has definitely become a second home for me and I can’t wait to come back!

DELS is definitely the best place to study english and enjoy the nature. There you can find a professional staff always prepared to help you in your development. The teachers are absolutely amazing and dedicated! Here I have really improved my English and meet people from many different countries and cultures. In the activities you can discover a lit bit more about the Ireland and Irish lifeway. I’m so grateful to have chosen this school. Lisa is a good teacher as well.

My teacher Fiona is the best teacher I have got to study English, so smart and professional, everybody would be her student someday! Sléinte!

I have no words to describe how is DELS and its staff. Incredible school, incredible residences, a wonderful paradise but, overall, a great family. The learning method is very dynamic, with different levels and full of activities, during the classes and extra classes.

I went to DELS for 3 weeks and I finally stayed there for 3 months. Gina and all her crew made me feel part of their multi-cultural family. I’ll come back, of course. THANKS for all!
