Donegal English Language School  has over 30 years’ experience in offering a range of Junior Mini Stay programmes including Culture, Adventure, and Work Experience & Apprentice packages.

Each programme provides expert tuition, quality placements, excellent accommodation and action packed activity programmes in a stunning, seaside location on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our programmes provide students with an invaluable opportunity of increasing their cultural knowledge and awareness along with gaining confidence in using another language.  We offer 4 packages depending on the group needs and budget, please note that all packages can be tailored to the groups needs.

Junior Mini Stay

Dates: September — May  Ages 10+
Course Length: Flexile

Your group can enjoy English classes along with a diverse activity and cultural programme.  Students will enjoy English lessons in the morning and activities like Irish dancing, graffiti art and making movies (along with lots of other activities) in the afternoon and evenings

English & Apprentice Experience

Dates: September – May
Ages: 12 +
Course Length: Flexible

This programme combines English lessons with themed project based work. At the end of the week, students will present their products/businesses. The themes offered include Tourism, Environment, Technology, Marketing, Agriculture and Media. The programme includes a weekly visit to a local business, where they will get an insight into the daily workings in their chosen field.

English & Work Experience

Dates: September – October & March — May
Ages: 16 +
Course Length: Minimum 7 Days

DELS Work Experience Package is perfect for students looking to get an insight into working in an English speaking environment. The programme combines business English with work experience, action packed activities and a cultural excursion showcasing some of local cultural gems followed by shopping. We offer work experience in tourism, retail, office, agriculture & environment

English Literature & The Arts

Dates: September – May
Ages: 12 +
Course Length: Flexible

English and Literature programme offers students the opportunity to learn about Irish authors and poets with ties to the local area including: WB Yeats, William Allingham, Bram Stoker and Mary Shelley. The students will also have the opportunity to visit some of the destinations where the writers got their inspiration.
