Set in our Georgian building overlooking the Atlantic ocean.  The English classes run 4 days a week for a total of 15 hours. On average, there are 10 students per class with a maximum of 15.

Lessons are based on current, well-established English Language Teaching methodologies, namely Task Based Language Teaching (TBLT), Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Dogme, (dealing with emergent language).  The aim of this is to maximise student exposure to real-life English.  This is achieved by incorporating the use of authentic texts for listening and reading, and providing an opportunity each month for students to meet a member of the local community to learn about and ask questions regarding their field, which will be related to the monthly topic.  Our objective is to give students the confidence to communicate in English and the foundations from which their learning journey can continue.  The curriculum is designed to bring a holistic approach to learning, so students have the skills and resources to develop their skills outside the classroom and through the rest of their lives.

Activities

Hiking

We offer 2 hiking activities during your week; with a choice of hikes in Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim and Fermanagh.  You will experience the wild and raw nature of the Irish countryside.  All hikes will be guided and you will be accompanied by an experienced hiker, who knows the area very well. Surfing

You will have 3 surfing sessions during your week.  We offer quality coaching with experienced, qualified, local surfers. Our aim is to ensure your surfing skills progress in a fun and safe environment. We believe we can help you achieve your surfing goals by keeping groups small and providing personal attention to each student.

Adult Accommodation
