At Donegal Language School we pride ourselves on giving a personal touch. As our classes and overall student numbers are small, both teachers and coordinators have the opportunity to get to know the students and help them with any queries they may have.
Gina Witherow
Manager
Gina is the manager of the Donegal Language School. Gina grew up in the language school industry as the school was started by her mother, Pat. She has over 15 years experience in the tourist industry as well as 9 years in teaching English. Gina holds a degree in European Language and Business and CELT in teaching English. When not working Gina enjoys spending time with her family or a bit of surfing.
Fiona Mc Cabe
Director of Studies
Fiona is the Director of Studies and head teacher at the school. Fiona holds a degree in English and History and a TEFL qualification. Prior to joining Donegal Language School in 2008, Fiona worked as an English teacher in Dublin for 14 years. Fiona enjoys nothing more than walking her dog Jo Jo in her free time.

Teacher
Tommy joined Donegal Language School in 2010 and has over 14 years teaching experience as well as degree in Economics and History. Tommy is a passionate musician and has been known to bring out the guitar in some of his classes.
Lauren O Reilly
Teacher
Lauren has a wide experience in secondary school teaching, private class teaching and English language teaching. Prior to joing Donegal Language School Lauren was teaching English in Dublin. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Originally from England, Jo moved with her husband over 10 years ago to follow their passion for surfing and the outdoors. During her time herw Jo has worked in the tourism and accommodation sector. As well as the outdoors, Jo loves travelling.
Mark Witherow

Married to Gina, the school manager, Mark is responsible for the catering of all residential students. Having worked for many years in the hospitality industry around the world. Mark moved back to Donegal in 2003 to pursue his career in food and his love for surfing.

Coordinators
Our Student Coordinators are available daily to help with any questions students may have. All social and cultural activities are arranged through the student coordinators. For junior students one coordinator is assigned to each house. The coordinator helps each student to settle in to their new surroundings.

Surf Instructors
The surf instructors will insure that you get the best surf tuition both in and out of the water. The ratio is 8 students to one instructor. All of the surf instructors hold the appropriate qualifications and the surf school is ISA approved.
