Donegal Language and Equestrian welcomes you to the residential Pony Camp based in Bundoran in the beautiful north west of Ireland. The residential Pony Camp is ideally suited for individuals, friends travelling together or small groups.

The Pony Camp Package includes:
- accommodation,
- 24-hour supervision
- three meals a day and snacks
- 5/6 days of riding and stable management
- laundry facilities
- evening activities including surfing, bowling, cinema, pitch n putt, team building, Dvd’s
- cultural excursion (optional) every Saturday taking in beautiful Irish scenery as well as a spot of shopping
- collection and transfer from local bus station(Ballyshannon)
Level
From total novice to experienced (beginners are accepted are certain weeks of the year, please contact us for further details).
Riding Activities
The horse activities on your holiday include:
- beach rides on our 10km stretch of beach, treks through our rolling sand dunes
- lessons
- lunging
- flatwork
- jumping
- video analysis
- pony games
- cross country for the novice upwards
- pony games and gymkhanas
- stable management
*Clients ride around 2 hours per day with other time being spent on horse care.
Location
One of Ireland’s main seaside resorts, Bundoran has a fine situation on the southern shore of Donegal Bay, the town offers something for everyone with two beaches within walking distance, some of the best surf sports in Europe, a perfect platform to explore some of Donegal’s best kept secrets as well as the neighbouring counties Sligo, Leitrim and Fermanagh.

The Riding School
Established in 1989, our BHS and AIRE approved facilities include:
- some of the best riding terrain in the whole of Ireland including, A 10 km beach and 1000 sq acres of rolling sand dunes on our doorstep, mountain, lake and forest trails all within a short distance of the yard
- indoor and outdoor arenas
- cross country schooling course
- horses to suit everyone’s needs
- friendly and professional staff
Donegal Language Residential
Donegal language school residential is situated in a quiet suburb just one minute’s walk from the atlantic coast and ten minutes from the town centre. The students stay in our residential accommodation which is situated less than one minutes walk from the Atlantic coast. Each house has 4 spacious rooms and 3 – 4 bathrooms which accommodates 8 – 10 students and 1 coordinator. All meals are provided at the houses. WIFI is also available for students.
We also work closely with a select number of host families to ensure a home from home experience.
Holiday Homes or B & B’s can also be organised for parents who wish to explore the North West of Ireland while their children are being entertained in the camps. Please contact us for more details.
Evening Activities
Evening activities include water sports, onsite discos, bbq’s treasure hunts, bowling, cinema, art and music workshops, silly olympics, talent shows, DVD’s etc.
Cultural Excursion
We also provide an optional cultural excursion for the students every Saturday. Some of the destinations include::
– Slieve League and Donegal Town
-The Great wall of Derry and Derry City
– Queen Meabh’s Grave & Sligo
– Glenveagh National Park and Letterkenny
A sample day includes:
9.00 am Breakfast time
9.30 am Come and meet Rachel and all the gang and meet your equine pal.
10.30 Start off with a lesson where we can assess your level and place you in the appropriate group
12.30 Lunch time for your horse/pony
13.00 After working up an appetite a well deserved lunch break (lunch not included on the non residential unless requested)
13.45 Get your horse tacked up and its off to the beach for a gallop
15.0 Back from the beach and there is a treasure hunt awaiting you with a prize at the end
16.0 Wash your horse down after an action packed day
5.00 The day is over and you’ll already be wishing it was tomorrow
16.45 Back to the residential for a snack and some relaxation
18.30 Dinner
19.30 Tonight everyone is going to the cinema.
22.00 Bed time
